CLASSROOM

The primary purpose of our entire site is to educate people of all ages about the marine environment. Here in the Classroom section we have links in the navigation bar on the left to material that has been specifically designed for educators and students.

In our Activities area you will find Activities separated by grade levels (Pre-School, k-3,4-6 and 7-12) which can be used for a wide range of disciplines.
In the Ocean Facts area we have assembled many interesting facts relating to the oceans.
Our Nautical Language section contains an alphabetical list of words and terms common in the English language which emphasizes our longstanding and close connection to the sea that has developed over the centuries.
